Q1. What is The Toys of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
A1. This is a hardcover book that is the first volume of toy guides for a planned series of "Pixel Dan Presents" books. All "Pixel Dan Presents" toy guides will feature loose turnaround photos of each toy, a visual checklist of each toy's accessories, shots representing common and popular paint variants, and images of packaging for that toy. All toy guides will feature original photography, and each entry provides detailed insights and review commentary from Pixel Dan.
Q2. What makes The Toys of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles different from other TMNT books such as Rad Plastic?
A2. Rad Plastic is an amazing TMNT guide that covers concept development, information about the toy production process, and includes images of original artwork and sculpts from the TMNT toy line. This is different from a "Pixel Dan Presents" toy guide which is a collector's resource for all figures released during specific years of a toy line.
Pixel Dan uses his own photography of toys from the collections of amazing fans from across the globe. These fans have graciously allowed Pixel Dan to come into their home and document their toys and collectibles for the benefit of fans everywhere.
Q3. Why does Volume One of this TMNT toy guide only go through 1993?
A3. The TMNT toy line franchise is a massive line that has spanned decades. And the original vintage TMNT line spanned nearly a decade and contains too many toys to effectively print in one volume.
Q4. Will their be future volumes of "Pixel Dan Presents" TMNT toy guides?
A4. The answer to that is "hopefully!" If fans support Volume One, then there will be other "Pixel Dan Presents" TMNT toy guides.
Q5. Why is this guide book unofficial?
A5. A precedent has been set over several decades for how reference guides can be made. A guide that is not created under a license from the IP owner has to follow certain parameters. That is why an unofficial "Pixel Dan Presents" toy guide does not have official logos and contains original photography of product used for reference and review.
Q6. Will this book be available in stores or through online retailers other than the He-Mart?
A6. The He-Mart is the currently only place to directly purchase The Toys of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. While we would love to have the product in stores, selling direct to consumers helps recoup the time and expense that has gone into creating the guide.
Q7. When the book is in-stock and ready to ship, will it then be available through other retailers? Like book stores or Amazon?
A7. Like with question 6, no, there are currently no plans for that. For those who missed out on the pre-sale, there will be a small additional quantity of the regular edition available for sale once the book is in-stock. But those are planned to only be available here on the the He-Mart and we don't know how long they will last. Pre-ordering on the He-Mart is the only way to guarantee getting a copy.
Q8. Will there be a digital release of The Toys of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
A8. At this time, no digital release is planned. We will reevaluate this in the future.
Q9. How long do I have to pre-order?
A9. The pre-order will last through Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 11:00pm Eastern time.

For the regular edition of The Toys of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the pre-order window is the only guaranteed way to secure a copy of the book. We plan to print a small additional quantity of the regular edition but there is no telling how long that supply will last. So if you want to secure your copy, then you will want to pre-order during the pre-order window.
Q10. What exactly is the Special Limited Edition version of The Toys of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
A10. This is a special, deluxe hardcover version. It has some premium features that make it stand out from the regular edition, especially on someone's shelf or coffee table. The cover is made from a special green faux leather, the title and emblems on the front cover and spine are silver foil stamped into the faux leather, and the edges of the pages are gilded in silver stamping. It will come with a dust jacket to help protect the cover, which you can take off when you want to display the Special Limited Edition.
Q11. What exactly is the bonus variant guide book? And does this mean variants will not be covered in the main book?
A11. TMNT is a toy line known for producing many paint variations of the figures; some more than others. It is also known for having multiple card back releases.
The main hardcover book is about the individual toy releases and covering them in detail. It's not intended to be a variant guide to help variant collectors. With that said, the main book will feature many of the popular and well-known variants.
This is where the variant guide comes into play. This softcover guide contains a text list of the known paint variants of each figure. While it does not have photos of the figure variants, it has written descriptions to help collectors identify these paint variants.
It also lists the known packaging variants for each figure release. And it has a color gallery depicting a number of these packaging variants.
The variant guide also covers playsets, vehicles and more.
Q12. What payment methods do you accept?
A12. We take credit card payments from Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We also accept Shop Pay which includes options for American Express, Apply Pay, and more with the option for installments for payment.
Q13. How will I be charged for the book?
A13. You will receive an initial charge for the cost of the book. The charge will be from Power-Con Store. There will be a second charge at a later date for shipping and handling.
Q14. When am I billed for shipping and handling?
A14. Shipping and handling will be charged when the books are in-hand and are starting to ship. We will send you an invoice for the shipping and handling fee which is payable upon receipt. Your book will not ship until your invoice for S/H is paid.
Q15. What do I do if my credit card changes between the time I pre-order the book and when shipping occurs?
A15. This is not an issue. You will be able to use whatever credit card you want on the separate shipping and handling charge.
Q16. When will the books ship?
A16. The books are estimated to ship some time in the Spring of 2026.
Q17. How much is shipping?
A17. Shipping costs are... well... very high. We wish that was not the case but shipping has gotten extremely expensive. Here are some examples of possible total shipping and handling costs for one copy of the regular edition of the toy guide. Please note this amount may change by Spring 2026.

Europe and United Kingdom: ~$50.00 to $60.00
Australia: ~$70.00
Africa, Asia, and South America: ~$80.00 to $90.00
Q18. Why aren't you using international distributors?
A18. We do not have any international distributor deals worked out. The reason being is by the time we discount the books as much as we can (which is not much), and then the distributor marks up the books to make their profit, there's little to no benefit to customers in those countries.
Q19. Is there a way for international fans to do a group order to help save on shipping?
A19. Yes. We are happy to try and arrange a cheaper shipping option for international fans that want to pool their order into one shipment from the USA to one destination internationally. Then the international recipient would be responsible for dispersing the books to the other fans in the group order. If there any fans who would like to work together and place a bulk order to one international destination, then please contact us if you are an international fan and would like to discuss this option.
Q20. As an international fan, what can I expect when it comes to fees and other charges imposed by my country?
A20. The customer is responsible for any custom fees, VAT fees, or any other fee charged to them by the courier delivering their order in their country. We do not know how much these fees will be as they are imposed by the destination country. Please do not ask us to declare a lower value for customs, as this is not allowed by law.
Q21. What happens if my book (or books) shows up damaged?
A21. If your book (or books) shows up with notable damage caused by the courier, please defer to our Returns policy below in Terms and Conditions. Please note that minor wear and tear on books, which can even happen on books when packaged by the factory of origin, is not something we cover.

Returns
We offer exchanges for damaged items (that can be proven damaged beyond minor wear and tear) or for lost items (as indicated by tracking information). Please see the Exchanges section below for more information.
We offer refunds if we are unable to provide an exchange. Please see the Refunds section below for more information.
Exchanges
If the item you received is proven to be damaged or lost, we will exchange it at our cost for the same item if it is still in stock. Please contact us for details on how to proceed with repacking, a return label, etc.
Please note that some exchanges that are due to damage may require an insurance claim. If this is the case, you may be asked to provide photos and other information to assist us with the claim. If that information is requested, please provide it in a timely fashion in order to expedite your exchange.
No matter what, in order to initiate an exchange, evidence of the damage item will be needed. This will require the customer to provide us with photographs showing the damaged item and damaged shipping container.
Please note that minor wear and tear is typical with books. Our exchange policy covers books that have suffered notable damage due to mishandling by the shipping courier, or from mishandling by the factory during production or packaging.
Refunds
If the item you received is proven to be damaged or lost, we will first attempt to exchange it for the same item. If we are unable to do that for any reason, including the product being no longer available, we will provide a full refund. Please contact us for details on how to proceed.
Please note that some refunds that are due to damage may require an insurance claim. If this is the case, you may be asked to provide photos and other information to assist us with the claim. If that information is requested, please provide it in a timely fashion in order to expedite your refund.
No matter what, in order to initiate an refund, evidence of the damage item will be needed. This will require the customer to provide us with photographs showing the damaged item and damaged shipping container.
Refunds for Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you as the gift recipient, we will need to work with the original customer who first purchased the item. Please notify them to contact us about a damaged order exchange.
